Granite Films is an outdoor adventure-based film and television production company owned by award-winning cameraman, Jim Surette. In the last two decades, Jim has circled the globe shooting and exploring every continent. We have the experience and the know-how to work in nearly any environment, as part of a small, specialized team or a large, feature-film crew. Crab fishing in the Bearing Sea, ski mountaineering in Antarctica, military special ops training, and high-altitude climbing are just a few of the assignments we’ve covered for Discovery Channel, National Geographic Explorer, NBC, ESPN, MTV and more. Our project work includes feature films, documentaries, sporting events, television shows and commercials.
